Bonding.

So recently I found this website

and just adore it!

Today I came across this one

Last night I had the opportunity to have some

"quality bonding time" with my old room mates.

We are all at such different times in our lives

but when we get together like we did last night

it's like we were never apart, and we're still those

18 year old kids sitting in our dorm room freshman year.

I love friendships like that.

No matter where you end up, you can always

catch up right where you left off.

It's a good feeling.

So last night, during our bonding time,

we went to a movie for Sundance Film Festival

called "Liberal Arts" with Elizabeth Olsen, Josh Radnor 

(who I had no idea who he was before this movie, but he's a really good actor!)

and surprisingly Zac Efron.

The movie was fantastic.

We all thoroughly enjoyed it!

Also, I developed a girl crush on Elizabeth Olsen...

She's so much better than the other two!

Look how adorable she is!

I love the fishes...

Who knew one little bite-sized cracker could bring such

happiness?

Pasta, Alfredo & CHEESE!

So most of the time after work, I don't have much desire

to make a nice dinner, but yesterday I saw

THIS little gem on Pinterest and had to try it out!

And this was the results:

You should definitely try it!

Noodles, alfredo, cheeses and a few other things!

Nom nom nom.

Tay liked it, to say the least :)

I got SO many other recipes from Pinterest

that I'm just dying to try.

Especially the desserts.

Sometimes I find out about things and wish I hadn't.

Like when your friends do stupid things.

Stupid, irresponsible, things where you'd think they

would learn from other people's mistakes...

But I guess they have to learn for themselves.

I haven't blogged in so long!

It doesn't help that we don't have internet at our apartment

but we will be getting it soon, so I can keep you updated

every second of everyday of our lives...

okay not every second!

The last time I blogged I told you about our big car purchase.

The newest addition to our little apartment

is our new red couch-our great Ikea find :)

Since I last blogged all this happened too:

-I was made manager at the boutique I work at

-the new season of the bachelor started-eek!

-Taylor and I enjoyed our very first Christmas together

-Along with new years

-Got a brand new yellow kitchenaid :)

Awesome? YES!

-Finally got the Hunger Games series for Christmas

and devoured the first book.

I absolutely loved it.

I can't WAIT for the movie!

Holy Moly.

I've been gone for a long time.

I apologize!

We don't have internet at our new place, so the only chance

I have to blog is when we're at the in-laws but 

typically when we're here we're always eating and enjoying

each other's company so I don't have much time to blog.

But I finally have a Saturday off from work so I put my day off to good use :)

I had some free time on my hands today.

Let's see, here's the low-down of what's new in the lives of the Hawkins clan:

1. New apartment. Super cute, smaller, but we love it. Great location and wonderful ward.

2. Tay and I are now fully employed! I'm working at a home decor/vinyl boutique in Bountiful

for about the last two months and Tay starts work at H&M on Monday!

3. We have 2 new additions to the family, Jack and Joey...

They're a bit on the boring side, mostly because we're not home a whole lot

so they haven't gotten used to us yet but hopefully we'll break them in.

4. We just made our first "big kid purchase" and bought a 2009 Silver Toyota Corolla.

We both fell instantly in love with it.
5. The new season of Gossip Girl has started...love.

I think that's about it in the way of big news other than things are going well for us!
